I have been spending a lot of time taking care of my mother's needs as she declines physically and mentally. It leaves me with a screaming need for alone time, and as a result I see much less of friends. I get what you're saying and it's a good reminder to muddle my way back to connection.

If we are taking in “trillion” of dollars in tariffs:

1. Why haven’t we paid down a cent of the debt?

2. Why can’t we afford to not fuck millions of people over with expiring insurance subsidies?

3. Why is none of it being used to help the abysmal job market?

I bought a Dyson animal about 15 or 20 years ago, it really works but it is HEAVY. That bothers me more now than it used to.
I just got their rechargeable stick vac for ease of movement. I can't believe how many attachments it has. 😄
The one that made me sign in was a little Shark robot vac.

Is it a Dyson? They have a U shaped thing that you can put the brush on to clean the tops of fan blades, ceiling lights, etc.

I feel your pain. I had to sign in on the web to use my vacuum cleaner yesterday. I do not need more disincentives to clean!

In PA so we're not the same climate but my son in law grows giant pumpkins and they were almost 100 lbs less this year than what he normally gets. It was a bad spring, he had to start over.

My brother is on his way to my place from Maui. He made it from OGG to LAX last night, so at least he's on the mainland, he can get here somehow.
He warned me that if they strike he might have to move in. 😄
