Thinking along the lines that there was a phase where “everyone” wanted a microservice, but couldn’t explain what it was or why it was needed. I’m seeing the same thing now wrt “AI agents” - folks want to build an “agent”, but don’t know what it is or why. But it is apparently “needed”.

I love being able to set up my Azure Durable Functions with .NET Aspire and Azure Durable Task Scheduler (using local container). Greatly simplifies the local dev cycle.

My team has been fighting a JavaScript date off-by-one issue lately. Enter 2025-10-01, parse and get 2025-09-30. An engineer on the team figured out a solution by setting a reference date. Happy there is a solution, but still find it somewhat confusing. Dates are a PITA…..still.
