If you’ve ever loved #bloodbowl, you’ll know who Pete Knifton is, from his artwork.
Sadly, Pete passed away last night. He was a funny, clever and immensely talented guy who always had time to chat. He’ll be very much missed.

Have you seen the comic from the digital deluxe edition for how they met? It's hilarious but also kind of touching in a weird way.

#DispatchGame This is... honestly one of the funniest bits in the game so far to me, I love how matter of fact the two of them are about it.

I also can't help but feel like some of this article applies to WoW. I'm not sure how on board I am with this idea that fans should be so active in deciding on the story. Especially the angle where fans start to tie morality to storytelling.
remember that time when I wrote an article explaining how and why alt right types like to infiltrate wholesome communities and how to be resilient against that behavior?

Gotta say, the Blood Knight one feels a little generic given their past
Midnight Alpha (lore) spoilers below. 🚨

There's a quest on Sunstrider Isle (belf starting area) that details the 'career paths' there are to take.

- Blood Knights
- Farstriders
- Magisters

Each 'teacher' gives a bit of lore regarding each faction/group.

In the Discworld books, every now and then a new technology is invented that messes up the fabric of reality so badly it causes a tear in the universe and the Discworld is nearly destroyed by horrible things from the dungeon dimensions.

I think AI is going to be that technology for our own world.

Good Christ that quoted post
The "hard-men" of Gondor were getting their shit kicked in until they were rescued by foreigners and a girl.

The Shire was doing fine until they let a fascist demagogue ("Sharkey" aka Saruman) take over, close the gates, impose a bunch of thug-enforced rules, and despoil nature for profit.

Steam at least try to not destroy the spirit of the community that brought it up. I feel that something like Epic that have shareholders who demand profits over anything else would completely disrupt the ecossystem in exchange of some stock growth.

"250x bigger and lost" is pretty insane. Imagine 250 Steam competitors all spinning their wheels

And it's not like the labor is crap. It's not like thousands and thousands of people did their job wrong

They had shit captains who will experience no repercussions for Shadow Realming billions of $$$

"We build a solution to a problem that was already solved years and years ago" sure is a sales pitch.

I legitimately didn't know they were competing with Steam and it's crazy to me that they burnt so much money on what sounds like something with very little (or wildly misguided) market research.

🎯 If you’re busy worrying about people going through rough times spending SNAP, Foodstamps…on Oreos…

BUT are silent about the govt cutting them off after wasting $172 Million on luxury jets, bankrolling genocide in Gaza, spending $45 M+on a dictator style parade..you’re a HYPOCRITE! #WakeUpAmerica

I never thought I'd say this but Zul'Aman is by far my favourite zone in Midnight. I'm back questing again and am immediately happy to be in the zone. This is me empowering a loa altar. #Midnight #MidnightAlpha #WoW #Warcraft
Useful for gathering gold if you're playing aggressively. Some heroes have the ability to recruit Vogelfrey and Konkorda neutral bandit units right out the gate in Skirmish so they're a lot of fun, and getting access to them late in the campaign is a nice twist after fighting them earlier on. 7/7
The Vogelfrey also have good theming in their abilities.
3 POWER, 2 HEALTH, BANDING ROGUE, PILLAGE 2, and EVASION 2
These are fragile units but evasion means they're good at not getting trampled by cavalry, so they're a natural enemy to early game thousand kingdoms armies, and pillage makes them6/7
It gives you general information and lets you come to a conclusion. Even in the stages of the campaign where Lorelai fights the Konkorda who have taken over the Anholt region, she observes that the Konkorda must've had a hard life and it's noted that the old Anholt nobles were awful and corrupt 5/7
we don't know if the mark is something everyone is born with (though on units we'll see later we know some folks are) and who exactly Talis (Celestial? Primordial?) is despite getting a very simple view of Ezra in the opening cinematic.

The game doesn't tell you the Vogelfrey are evil or good 4/7
What kind of theft? What constitutes blasphemy when the Church is noted in the Rites and Wrath acolyte descriptions as zealous and burning nonbelievers? Is treason against an evil ruler actually wrong? Etc... The description also notes the mark of ezra the traitor and the horns of Talis, but 3/7
By specifically noting that people can be expelled for many reasons it lists a few examples of varying severity, people generally think of theft and treason as pretty big deals but a cheeky mouth? Expelling someone for that definitely feels extreme... but then that also makes you think. 2/7
#SongsOfSilence So continuing our lore discussion and early analysis of the campaign with Queen Lorelai we're going to talk a bit about the neutral units, starting with the Vogelfrey Infantry.

The Vogelfrey flavor text helps put something I love about the setting's worldbuilding into context 1/7

Fluorite Tiefling sorcerer
Just as regular tieflings are humans touched by the Hells; fluorite tieflings are touched by Pluton, the lowest point of the greek underworld

I realise that Azeroth is way bigger than what can realistically be portrayed in game, but I do think people should still show some restraint when making up their own locations. A good rule of thumb is: Would it make sense for a character from that in-game region to have never heard of it?
