Rise of Legends, yet another game that had the misfortune of trying to be a unique new RTS at a time when Warcraft, Starcraft and Command&Conquer dominated the market.

Behold the Industrious Vinci, the Magical Alin, and the Enigmatic Coutl!

Universe at War, another game that deserved more love...

This setting had such potential, shame it never got any sequels or spinoffs. But Goblin Commander will always have a special place in my heart.

I frickn love this art but I have no clue who did it.

Banner Saga had such an amazing art direction.

Man I REALLY wish more concept art from SEVERED were on the internet, this game had SUCH a cool spooky eldritch-organic vibe going on.

Well that is definitely some Hashalaq Quori vibes

Just realized I never posted this Art I commissioned from the amazing Janjems www.artstation.com/janjems_1210
Featuring a fun crossover between the worlds of #SongsOfConquest and #Warhammer
Tehenhauin and Rasc are both Prophetic heroes with 'Beast' based magic and Hillar and Ikit are mad scientists

#DispatchGame New Dog Meme Just Dropped

#DispatchGame This is... honestly one of the funniest bits in the game so far to me, I love how matter of fact the two of them are about it.

#SongsOfSilence So continuing our lore discussion and early analysis of the campaign with Queen Lorelai we're going to talk a bit about the neutral units, starting with the Vogelfrey Infantry.

The Vogelfrey flavor text helps put something I love about the setting's worldbuilding into context 1/7

The Starborn and Firstborn, and this extended to the Celestial gods and Primordials. Ultimately the Starborn were victorious, but at the end of the conflict the 'Arch-Traitor' Ezra divided the world into two, so the Firstborn and Starborn could each have their own home, but as a consequence 4/15

Lived in a world of darkness under an immense layer of clouds, these are the 'Old Race' or 'Firstborn' faction, in classic tower of babel faction, their ancient civilization built tall towers which drew the attention of Celestial gods which gave humans eyes, unfortunately war broke out between 3/15

Whew, very busy last few days, sorry all, but it's time for our lore review of the Thousand Kingdoms faction, the World of #SongsOfSilence as a whole, and the early campaign!

Here's the game manual bit about the Thousand Kingdoms, mostly mechanics focused (which we'll touch on) but it sets the 1/15

#SongsOfSilence Today we cover the last hero of the Thousand Kingdoms faction, the HOCHMEISTER! This is a unique hero that blends the themes of devotion to the celestials and cavalry riding lords into a paladin who rides a giant winged bull. This is an exceptionally powerful early game hero 1/5
October 23, 2025 at 1:24 PM
#SongsOfSilence Today we finish off the Thousand Kingdoms faction units, with our final hero tomorrow, this is another double-feature to highlight the two most powerful units and the ultimate manifestation of the Thousand Kingdoms ties to the celestials, the Knights Luminark and Wordbringer 1/-
October 22, 2025 at 3:02 PM
#SongsOfSilence another two-unit review today to round out some early game units. Landwehr which are the Thousand Kingom's 'Garrison' unit, and Starborn Civilians. Garrison units spawn at certain buildings and can't leave them, this ensures you have a few defenders on key buildings. Civilians... 1/5

#SongsOfSilence I just realized I'd almost forgotten one of the Thousand Kingdoms early game units! The humble Rangers!
These are your basic ranged infantry, to carry you through the early game alongside your hearthguard and protect the civilians of the Thousand Kingdoms from monsters and beasts 1/5

#SongsOfSilence I didn't forget to make a post yesterday while getting ready for things! I was TOTALLY just preparing for our special DOUBLE UNIT FEATURE today!

We're looking at the Acolytes of Rites and Acolytes of Wrath, the squishy casters of the army compared to the cavalry and luminants 1/9

#SongsOfSilence Morning all! Today, following up on our heavy infantry Oathsworn unit review, we're now talking about the heavy artillery of the Thousand Kingdoms faction! The Starshower Catapult (Isn't that a Trebuchet though?) this is a very unique unit in the faction in that it's a Konstrukt 1/7
October 16, 2025 at 4:19 PM
#SongsOfSilence Today we're covering the Oathsworn, this is a higher tier infantry unit so we'll be comparing them primarily to the Hearthguard. There's not much lore to them save the interesting note that they put their oath above faith but also abandon their Names and Houses so I'm curious 1/7
October 16, 2025 at 2:15 AM
#SongsOfSilence Today we're looking at another hero unit, the High Lord! This is the class represented by the main character of the game, Lorelai, and the ruling class of the Thousand Kingdoms faction's myriad nations. We'll talk more about lore in a future post since there's SO much to say 1/7
October 14, 2025 at 3:11 PM
#SongsOfSilence Today, it is my great pleasure to bring you THE RAGESWORN this is the Thousand Kingdoms top tier cavalry for stomping out enemy infantry. The description says the bulls are descended from a Saint and folks on the discord take that to mean a man who turned into a celestial bull 1/7
October 14, 2025 at 2:08 AM
#SongsOfSilence Today we're looking at the IRONSWORN this is the Thousand Kingdoms first cavalry unit and were the first one that made me realize that Lorelai and the other units I was seeing weren't mounted on Horses but BULLS. Which is a fascinating worldbuilding choice. Do horses even exist? 1/7
