I've had one MRI, and they filled me full of benzos due to my anxiety. I don't remember it. I was in there for over a half-hour. I imagine they gave Trump the same treatment.
Would love to hear a radiologist weigh in!
I've had several different types of MRIs. All 25-70 mins inside a claustrophobia-inducing tube. Machinery so loud you must wear earplugs. You know exactly what they're looking at.

people think “no ceiling” means “lets the rich keep getting richer” because it’s an idea taken from a venture capitalist by a party that has shown no stomach for reining in the worst excesses of 21st century capitalism. It’s not that people don’t know what it means. It’s that they do.
I think people are negatively reacting to the "no ceiling" part as shorthand for "let the rich get richer," though I don't think that's what's meant at all. It's an aspirational claim that *can* resonate with plenty of people. It's about opening up opportunity for everyone, which is good?

The first playwright I properly studied (after Shakespeare) was Tom Stoppard. When I went to New York the first thing I did was buy a ticket to Leopoldstadt on Broadway, unable to believe that you could simply go see a new work from an old master. It was glorious. Vale to one of the all-time greats.
