Okay, it’s not. I was thinking of the UK show The Stolen Girl. They have very similar beginnings, but I guess they’re not going to be exactly the same and it’s not a remake.

Arcata, California is sort of like this. There are a few chain restaurants, but they’re limited to the outskirts of town and they’re all next to the hotels. It’s wonderful being there and shopping or eating at local places.
