This iconic Fabian Todorovic cartoon is still one of the best I’ve seen at illustrating the remarkable amount of space we surrender to cars, leaving little space left for everyone and everything else. The text added later makes the bonus point that many drivers still manage to complain about it.

I'm so tired of measles.

I'm also tired of people using needle shots on stories like this.

You don’t
have to
be suave,
because I fall
for sincerity
long before
polish.
I look for
the way your
voice softens
when you care,
the steadiness
in your hands
when truth is
all you offer.
Style fades
in the dark, but
honesty is the
only garment
you need to
earn my love.

The world
is quieter
than we think.
That’s why
it matters
to
declare love
before the
moment
slips away.
We forget how
silence can feel
like absence,
even when
we care.
So we choose
to say it,
to give our heart,
because letting
someone know
they're loved
can change
everything.
