GW9 had been and gone and the title race and relegation race are not as exciting as the race for 4th/5th

We need to talk about the threat X poses to our shared values as a country.

This is bigger than just one platform: it’s about the way our democracy is being reshaped by an engagement model that rewards outrage above all else. 1/7

I used to work at a small shop that made little plastic vampires.

There were only 2 of us working there, so I had to make every second count.
Saw Bugonia tonight. I enjoyed it, long may that partnership continue.

This is what I think of as the most important chart in British politics. It shows the amount people spend on retail sales and the amount they get. Compared to Feb 2022 people are spending about 16% more but consuming 4% less.
I don't mind these, they can be nice to have the interviews and features together, what I would say is there are too many of them and worse than that they update the same ones over and over. Beatles, Dylan, Springsteen and Bowie might have 10 each since 2000. They should be more esoteric.
Inspiral Carpets, Huggy Bear, Tindersticks, Arab Strap, Cornershop, Weller in top 20. Oasis and Verve again too.
It's top 100 LPs and top 100 songs.

10 Lydon/Leftfield - Open Up
9 Underworld - Born Slippy
8 Portishead - Sour Times
7 The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony
6 Suede - The Drowners
5 Manics - Design For Life
4 Massive - Unfinished Sympathy
3 Oasis - Supersonic
2 Blur - Girls&Boys
1 Pulp - Common People

Visited a school in Romania and was asked about my favourite soap opera. I answered truthfully that it was Pobol y Cwm. They asked for a few episodes and I posted them a USB stick with a bunch on it. It turns out they didn't care about drama, they wanted to learn English. Sorry.

I may have nearly knocked out my gynecologist by shooting a speculum at his head. It wasn't my fault. He made me laugh, my muscles contracted, and suddenly my twat was a cannon.
I mean that is surely deliberate.

I think it's appalling that Britain's most enduringly popular family don't pay income tax or VAT, but it's hard to deny how much joy they bring to the general public. That chandelier gag alone...
Yes, with #all50rts I was tied to what I felt missed out from the 50, but this allows more "tactical" voting.
I'm liking the way this is working. Rather than debating what is 57 Vs 51 I can scan the hashtag, see what I could boost from my own HM master list and give you another 45 in a month's time that I can flex the line between supporting momentum and my own favourites that may end up on five.

Nothing on the BBC Radio news this morning. Nothing I could find on their website. This is an MP from the party whose lead in the opinion polls normally ensures them wall-to-wall coverage. She spouts racist nonsense for which even she feels obliged to apologise. What on earth are they playing at?
