Talking to a friend about this project & flipping though this book, I’m struck again at how fun & remarkable it was that I sold 75% of these pieces to raise money for a local LGBTQIA+ youth organization. ❤️

I saw @yarndragon24.bsky.social use a salad spinner to remove excess water after washing finished items so I knew I had to try it. And lemme tell you it is a GAME CHANGER! 🤯

Things that have helped me recently:
1) little things still matter
2) the power of a solid meal, a big glass of water, and a good night's sleep
3) remembering how much words of encouragement or a compliment meant after a tough day
4) action is the enemy of despair
5) I can do things through spite

My favorite gin drink is one with *I think* lime and simple syrup then topped off with champagne, of course I can’t remember the name. It’s good that we don’t keep champagne on hand regularly because I would drink it WAY too often!
