Our dogs are such a huge part of our lives & even more so now that they are seniors & can’t really be left alone. We’re going to be so lost without them! My ginger son with one of two the new “foster fail” kitties - Lenny. He’s so sweet & mellow for a 4/5 month old - it’s like he has no bones. 🩵🐾

My Mom told me to always try to say no to men politely & carefully, so they didn’t get angry. Mom’s younger sister showed me pictures of my other Aunt after she was brutally beaten, half of her hair with bits of her scalp ripped out - I was maybe 18/19 & sassy. They wanted me to really get it.

It’s like everyone in our friend & family groups are currently experiencing this. One of my best friend will probably lose her geriatric Pit/Dane cross this winter, and my other friend’s dog is is end stage spinal disease, our two siblings are seniors & our DIL’s kitty. All animals we know & love.

We need to make a support group for pet lovers who are losing, or have just lost our pets. It seems like everyone we know right now has a sick or geriatric pet. My DIL kept bursting into tears this last weekend because her college cat has cancer, & bestie’s dog is nearing his end & ours are old. 💔

I hate to think what boys and young men are learning from watching such behavior and how it makes girls and young women. Parents need to teach that this is not acceptable.
