Dems could eliminate all 9 GOP seats in CA. 5 or 6 in NY. 2 or 3 in IL. 1 in WA and OR. If they take back the state Legislature in WI they could eliminate 2 more. They could offset the repeal of the VRA. Of course, they won't.

Once the fascists on SCOTUS gut the VRA the GOP can gerrymander up to 19 seats. This is why Repubs don't care about polls regarding the shutdown, ACA hikes, Medicaid, etc. They'll have a permanent majority in Congress. Dems could offset most of it but this would require them getting off their asses

We were blessed in WI to have Ben Wikler be instrumental in state SC judges races. They ran ads lambasting GOP judges as MAGA loons and Dem judges won here statewide by over 200K votes. Of course, the DNC will make sure not to make that mistake again now that Ben has moved on.

Expand to 13 justices to cover all the jurisdictions. Then each district sends a new judge {chosen by lottery} each year to serve one year terms on SCOTUS. Those that served are removed from next years lottery so an entirely new SCOTUS comes in the next year and so on.

TX NG just invaded IL but Pritzker's response is to have your phone handy. Make sure to film all the criminality so Pritzker's Attorney General can ignore it. His strategy of doing absolutely nothing is going great.

Pritzker isn't w/o recourse here. Enforce state law, divest state funds from TX that sent NG troops, organize a Governor's task force of volunteers of veterans/retired law enforcement to observe activities etc. His approach of doing absolutely nothing but giving speeches doesn't seem to be working.
