It was crap and they pretty much discontinued support and updates for it immediately. I think I only used it to capture video a couple of times and ended up mostly using it for its SCSI interface instead which I connected to a Yamaha CRW4416SX external CD-RW drive.

I genuinely find this very worrying, as someone with settled status! sure, Lam probably won't be home secretary tomorrow, but the mood music is changing, you can feel it, and I just don't trust Labour to fight like hell on our behalf, so unclear where this is going to go

Lam hears "settled status" and "guaranteed by withdrawal treaty" as up for grabs:understood to be temporary "provisional arrangements" which can be transitional and unsettled if and when you want to

That is highly counterintuitive as language of 'settled', as law & as politics of Treaty guarantees.

Yeah and pretty decent connectivity usb, line/phono, bluetooth, optical and hdmi (earc). The last one is handy as my monitor supports earc so it passes the audio from my PS5 Pro to the speakers too.

From a different thread, here's your chance to vent about local pubs with history & character that were ruined by 'refurbishment'.
Example - The Beehive in Liverpool town centre was an old school boozer with a jukebox full of 50s 7" singles & regular drinkers. Now it's this identikit monstrosity:

An actual pub that feels like an actual pub that has actual regulars who drink there regularly and when you go in there it has a feeling and a character and a history.

Some place called Futurist (no definite article) that could be a laser quest venue or a clothes shop or it could sell concrete or fuck knows.

I've never had curry or a kabab and don't intend to.
British food is the best. English breakfasts, Sunday roasts, fish and chips, pies, pasties, scones.
Also, our national dish isn't a chicken tikka masala we only think that because a Labour MP said it decades ago to push multiculturalism.

"We made some changes to McVitie's Penguin and Club earlier this year, where we are using a chocolate flavour coating with cocoa mass, rather than a chocolate coating. Sensory testing with consumers shows the new coatings deliver the same great taste as the originals," the McVitie's owner, Pladis, said in a statement.
Club's classic advertising slogan citing its chocolate content is no longer in use, replaced by: "If you like a lot of biscuit in your break, join our Club."
