Thinking back to days when liberals defended Cotton because the people he wanted troops deployed at were busy presenting annoying facts about their racist society
Yeah it's pretty clear that Cotton was calling for the mass murder of Black people by the US military in that op ed. No other way to square these two.
This also really ought to put the entire “send in the troops” editorial episode in a much clearer context for everyone who decided the important takeaway was an “out of control” newsroom rather than y’know a sitting Senator calling for people to be shot in the street.
