The only solution to this is for all journals to require data to be digitally watermarked from creation to publication - we cannot identify fraud any more so we have to be able to show that real data are real.

This is a big issue with nanoparticles too. Gemini could make a lot of convincing images really fast. The only flaw? The images look TOO GOOD because the training data is all papers with cherry picked images.
