Very likely it was a dumb injury resulting in a tenosynovitis.
It's healing atm but the doc appointment is still a good call.

Aaah yes~ the anxiety of not knowing if the pain in your joints are just some dumb injury you got without noticing the cause or the beginning of your hands getting arthritis/arthrosis...

Ich finde es schön, wenn Leute einander darin bestärken, dass manche Dinge dauerhaften Wert haben, dass man sie vertrauensvoll bewahren muss, auch in Zeiten, in denen ihr Wert von vielen unterschätzt wird.

Finds irritierend, dass bei Streiks oft geschrieben wird, es werde eine Lohnerhöhung gefordert. Tatsächlich geht es aber sehr oft vielmehr um eine Inflationsanpassung zwecks Beibehaltung des Reallohns. Das ist ein großer Unterschied. Leute streiken nämlich oft, damit sie nicht weniger verdienen.
