Hidden Food Tours was featured on Radio 4’s The Food Programme last Friday. It was great hosting Sheila Dillon (the doyenne of UK food journalists) on our #MeltonMowbray tour, and brilliant that she got what we do. Have a listen & come see for yourselves! www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...

I definitely see the comparison of… *checks notes* …making farmers pay the same taxes as everyone else with forced collectivisation of 25 million farms. Definitely.

Still remember when ‘Devil’s Pie’ dropped. First heard it in Uptown in Soho. People were fighting for the white label 12’s. Such a hard record, sounded like Sly Stone had gone gangsta.

Does anyone have info on what happened when a bunch of racist knuckle draggers previously tried marching through immigrant communities in East London? Did it go well?

I have an outsized 1st edition Picador paperback of Hunter S Thompson’s ‘The Curse Of Lono’ which, while I’ve taken the best care of it I possibly could over the last 40 years, has totally disintegrated (much like it’s author’s reputation, in fact). What should I do, Andy? WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Gianni Infantino's latest Instagram post on how FIFA is going to help the Palestinians is only for those with strong stomachs. Infantino appears to be laying the ground to buy off the Palestinian Football Association and get them to drop their complaint against Israel, which has FIFA in a corner.

a) he told the cops ‘you look like c*nts’ and b) it wasn’t his £170K car, it was ‘a mate’s’. Even more perfectly normal.

‘No’ said Tom, pulling a full pint of perfectly poured Guinness out of his coat pocket. ‘I’m good, thanks.’ Paul Simonen (the coolest man alive) said it was the coolest thing he’s ever seen.

Never seen him, but love the story about The Clash going to see him at Ronnie Scott’s in the 70’s - the doorman wouldn’t let the scruffy punks in, until TW, in a long coat, got them in. They stood chatting to him at the bar for five minutes, then someone said ‘Anyway Tom, fancy a drink? 1/2

I was once told that ‘chin chin’ is Japanese slang for ‘small boy’s p*nis’. Not able to verify this, but it’s definitely limited my use of it as a salute.
