TVS, I think - I was a student from 81 to 84, and I think this was (just) after that.

TVS as well - late at night, if I remember rightly. I know I'd seen it before I ever saw Naked Gun in a cinema.

Ross is the same - absolute commitment, even though he *knows* he's too old and too stiff #Strictly

There's bound to be some good charity shops near you that take books seriously - Oxfam do, the Children's Society do, and so may some of the smaller local charities. Generally speaking, if the book is falling apart, just recycle it, but otherwise all donations are usually well received.

It's a phrase I know from old films, usually spoken by wide boys and spivs played by the likes of the great Sydney Tafler. London, East End, wartime and beyond.

Exceptional writing, magnificently layered, Coogan on fine form, and lovely work from Tim Key (amongst others)

Libera Me from Faure's Requiem, especially when part of the choir.

Magnificent stuff. Barry Cryer was a huge admirer of Priestley and his writing, and I'm really not surprised.
