Every secondhand James Cameron story sounds like dialogue from 'ARCHER.'

"Awesome guy. We watched Anime together. Also, that time my dad was kidnapped? I called him, he sent me $1 Million and a negotiator. The Marines said he wanted to ride along for the extraction, too - that guy loves to party!"
Y'know, it makes perfect sense that Guillermo del Toro and James Cameron were roommates who introduced each other to Patlabor and Battle Angel Alita.

Took my kid to see Predator Badlands and we loved it! Very fun flick, has some great unexpected moments, lore, & action. And my kid thought it was like watching what a Metroid movie would be. Definitely had some video game boss fight vibes, which was really really cool to see

Stopped by my Guitar Center and they had an MPC Live 3 and Moog Messenger to demo. After the initial "Wow!" factor I'll be honest... I wasn't impressed by either. The MPC was glitchy and I felt like my Live 2 pads were more responsive. And the Messenger was kind of blah sounding.

Xbox announces this 2 months from Christmas and still expects to sell out those crazy expensive Allys!? This is next level stupid... I'm guessing next steps are to spin Xbox into a separate company, sell parts of it off to private equity like EA did, and then hope to God the AI bubble doesn't pop.

Interesting... My Windows 10 laptop that doesn't have a network connection at all has a mysterious Update ready to be applied. I wonder what surprises Microsoft added to it now that WIndows 10 support has ended.

Just heard Drew Struzan passed away 😞 His incredible work has given me and countless others so much awe, joy and inspiration!

I had posters of his work as a teen, I began using color pencils because I thought he used them too. Always inspired by him. Just utterly heart broken.

RIP Drew Struzan.

RIP to Christopher Mills — an old-school bona fide indie comics creator who did it for the love of the medium, which is the only reason to do it in the first place. He was the kind of guy who makes artist alleys worth walking, and he'll be missed.
I only wrote about 100 comics in my so-called career, but now that I'm dying, I'm grateful that I got to do even that. Comics are such a wonderful medium, and they've always meant so much to me.

Holy moly, went to change my Tron Ares tickets and every local theater, IMAX included, only sold a handful of tickets... Seems crazy. Is the Disney/ABC boycott still on? No audience interest in Tron? Or is it a dud and I didn't notice because neon lights & NIN are two of my kinks?
