My school went into lockdown at the end of the day. For almost 10 minutes, I stood against a wall with tears streaming down my face, holding the hand of our custodian, hoping my sister down the hall knows the lockdown protocol, and waiting for an all clear.

It very much is. The mechanics are different, but nothing about the empirical method or science as a whole has ever promised a solution to all problems. At most, it promises a lens to understand reality, but not necessarily solutions. Techno-optimism co-opts this to insist it is a fixer of all woes.

Right, and getting ahead of those discoveries without empirical evidence to support the claim is magical thinking. The empirical method states that anything which cannot be proven should be held critically. Asserting in advance that a problem *will* be solved is about as unscientific as you can be.

I see a lot of people who insist they aren't spiritual or religious unconsciously regurgitate religious thinking when discussing science and technology. "I know we have no idea how to solve problem X but I fully believe new science will figure it out."

The most efficient and economical (high upfront cost) method of 🍃 consumption is a vaporizer by far. It doesn’t hurt my nose, throat, or lungs. I can accurately dose myself. And after I can use the ABV to make edibles, tinctures, or topicals! I am a believer

worked a new recipe and process and I’m MUCH happier!! Also shrunk the recipe for a mini-boule for so I don’t need to freeze/waste. I even got a bit of an ear 🥹🥹🥹🥹
