I'm never going to be on anyone's starter pack, but I'm following so many of them I may as well give a little more info than can fit in my bio.

I work outside of academia as my 9-5 job and continue to work ponderously towards a previously abandoned undergrad degree in History at UC Berkeley, 1/3

So, to wrap up today's insanity:

President Trump, who is deeply implicated in a pedophilia scandal involving his best friend, the sex trafficker, sent Attorney General Bondi -- who only has that job because Trump's first choice was also implicated in a separate pedophilia scandal -- to the House...

I can't think of an attorney general ever showing this much open contempt for Congress before.

Not only would most of them think this kind of conduct was beneath them, they'd have known that the Judiciary Committee chair, whatever the party, would never stand for clownish antics like this.
Bondi is now just straight up ignoring questions from Democratic members

This dog is being called a "real-life Lassie" after helping find a missing 3-year-old boy in Kentucky. “I don’t know where the dog came from,” one officer said. “But it was a blessing from God that day.” We think the dog deserves some credit too, so we're awarding him our highest honor, a 15/10

If you saw today's headline that Gallup will stop measuring presidential approval, they did the same thing in 2018. They do it whenever Trump is president.

But, the Republicans told the media they were drawing down! And as everyone in the media knows, Republicans only tell them the truth and must never be questioned or thought liars.
Sometimes very hard not to feel like the rest of the country has abandoned Minnesota. We STILL have ICE everywhere. Our schools, businesses, and economy are in profound crisis. But without Bovino here throwing tear gas, much of the country seems to not care at all what’s being done to us.

It's so funny (and on brand) that literally any Dem who grew a spine and treated these fascists like fascists could achieve almost God Emperor status in the party, but instead every single one is like "I'm just a baby, I'm a little guy, please give me $5".

I can confirm this is true and I can also say that the lack of an eviction moratorium is fueling this trend.
