During the presidential election I thought that by around now we would be looking back thinking it was really weird AI was barely a topic. I don't think we're there yet, progress has been slower than I expected

Indiana’s Senate has voted AGAINST the GOP gerrymander that’d have locked in a 9-0 map.
This keeps the 7-2 map in place, saving two Democratic seats heading into 2026.
The vote failed big, 19/31.
The MAJORITY of the GOP senators opposed it!

When I saw the first startup in this field I was not impressed with their thermo. But they have gotten better, people I consider smart and knowledgeable have shifted views, and it looks like people are putting real money on table. Might still be wrong, but likely not due to a trivial reason.
