This weekend, I’m taking part in Umede Festival in Vilnius, Lithuania. I’ll give a performative lecture titled “Algorithms, Stones & Digital Dark Matter” on how we might conceptualize new perspectives on the opacity in machine learning systems and current visions of artificial intelligence.

This weekend Cassandra Bookshop in Porto hosted the launch of the book Inteligências Entretecidas, which includes my essay “Imitation Aesthetics”. The book documents the workshop series organized by Earthsea Association and is edited by Ana Carvalho, Isabel Carvalho, and Vera Carmo.
