Really interesting thread.
An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

This is kind of the endgame of the student loan crisis, the college experience has become bloated and so expensive that students are treated like customers who can't be wrong, lest they decide to take their business elsewhere.

When I ask them: "What are you reading? What are you watching? What are you listening to?" Often, the answer is: nothing. Which has a direct effect on their over-use of prompts and AI, because they can't think of ideas, because they are literally not engaging with a single figurative thing.

Pete Hegseth responded to all this with the smirking, adolescent sadism of a schoolyard bully pulling the legs off of a spider. Now juxtapose this with the horror experienced by a source who saw the imagery of the men being blown apart in the water:

Reminder that Starbucks’ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024.

This was the widest CEO-to-Worker pay gap in the entire S&P 500.

And we're supposed to believe Starbucks can't afford to bargain a fair contract with its unionized workers?

The fascists are testing the boundaries of their power and in what ways they can put pressure on remaining walls to their goal of absolute power of the United executive branch.

Things are accelerating quite rapidly again and this appears to be a systemwide stress test
Trump claims “any document” signed by Joe Biden is “hereby terminated.”

He calls out executive orders later but obviously “any document” would be much broader and include legislation.

(He can’t legally do that but, as always, we get to watch how far he can push this without repercussions)

The Saab Gripen is an airplane.

The F35 is a military-industrial complex cartel pact, the byproduct of which is an airplane.
Decent enough article. Though the F-35 is worse than a pledge of allegiance. It's a very binding, material shackle to the US and its interests. Our airforce useless for anything but what the US wishes us to use it for. i.e. Destroying other nations in wars of aggression.

Guess this is going to turn into one of those posts that I have to repost every few months now as the United States government is fully rebuilding itself as a white power institution and setting the stage for mass ethnic cleansing and genocide.
“Remigration” is a word that only exists in this context as a white identity movement concept. The word itself was literally created by fascists and white identity groups to call for the forced removal and destruction of “ethnically non white” citizens within their country. It’s literally fascism
Trump is now redefining deportation as “remigration”

Next he’s going to start referring to denaturalization as “realienation”
