There's like zero meaningful distinction between this behaviour and that of Joseph Goebbels' tenure as Reich Minister of Propaganda.
Targeting the free press is nothing new for this administration or for Trumpism but this feels like an elevation of hostiles

In case you missed it (entirely feasible given my stream issues right now) I am taking the first 1-2 weeks of December OFF!
Mainly to not struggle & potentially damage my gaming PC whilst waiting for the new streaming PC to show up, but also just to retain my own morale

Rewatching Stargate Universe (which is basically the same concept as Stargate Atlantis but done way better) and it still cracks me up that they made Daniel Jackson, a main character for most of the franchise's run, record hours of educational tapes just to get new arrivals to the canon up to speed.

Moreover, it means there's a higher-than-reasonable chance you'll feed their work into the machine. It's not just "you do not respect me" it's "you will likely use what I give you to try to render me obsolete"
As a corollary to this: there are a lot of artists who will black-list you from BUYING art if you have AI slop in your profile. Seeing AI is an instant, immediate red flag for most artists because it's a signal that you do not respect artists (yes, that includes using it "until I can get real art").
Just so you know...
Art directors, Art enjoyers, Art buyers and Artists talk with each other. Nobody wants AI slop, specially when there is real art out there as an alternative. You can totally get blacklisted, not only on the industry, but inside fandoms for defending AI precarization and theft.
