Everyone talks big talk on here but what organizing in this country needs, more than anything else, are βnormalβ people with stable incomes and professional backgrounds who can leverage their work and networks to bring in more fresh blood, eyes, and money into the fold, to take it seriously.

I organize next to parents who are barely skating by, you really donβt have an excuse, you just think you do. Youβre too aloof, youβre too nuanced, youβre too smart, etc; whatever it actually is, itβs a weak pretense, moral cowardice, that allows you to say this is somebody elseβs work.

you should be allowed to see cars in a huge barn you visit ONLY very rarely and now everybody goes around on hooks suspended from a track, side of beef style, and the hook often hurts you bad or even kills you with a terrible infection. have fun playing small ball with your speed limits chitchat tho

I really can't get over that the fascist movie studio went to make anticommunist propaganda and got so scared about not making something mass market enough that they ended up turning Animal Farm into a gross-out comedy.
