Refereeing is a joke. For once I’m laughing rather than crying.

Now the question is can Liverpool somehow turn this gift into embarrassment
December 9, 2025 at 9:53 PM
I'm not even sure they'd give that against us so this'd be a gift...
December 9, 2025 at 9:50 PM
I would like it if Liverpool could control what they can control and not completely lose their heads here.
December 9, 2025 at 9:40 PM
Huh. Guess they did change it. So. Yeah. That should have been a goal. It's wonderful being both shit and unlucky.
I'm struggling to find the justification for disallowing the goal, other than it be deemed "unnaturally bigger". #lfc

Early signs that Liverpool may not be reacting well to having the goal taken away this could be fun (for certain values of, all negative)
December 9, 2025 at 8:42 PM
It sucks and I don't know why it took so long but that reflects my understanding of the rule so 🤷‍♂️
December 9, 2025 at 8:38 PM
They change it every five minutes so like the announcers keep talking about intent and I'm like I thought that didn't matter in a situation like this?
this was also my understanding and now I’m like fuck did they change it again lol

Had to be him. Funniest way to get it. Ibou makes it 1-0

Lucky Liverpool. Probably should have been the opener for Inter there. Just passed straight through us.

Waiting until Slot and Edwards have decided to fuck off Mo Salah to try the 4D2 this squad (and an aging Salah) was clearly built for is an affront to me, personally.

To hear Chivu talk us up you'd think he was getting his side ready to face Klopp's heavy metal Liverpool in their pomp.

Inter’s Chivu Insists Liverpool Are a Side of “Quality and Intensity”
Perhaps in an effort to not have his players take a win for granted, Inter Milan’s manager was hyping up the Reds.

Really not keen on the idea being pushed that we've been better recently. We basically played 3-5-2 at home against Sunderland then created nothing against Leeds until Rodon passed it to Ekitike.

Meanwhile the English media (and the racist/xenophobic corners of our own fanbase) is lining up to prove Salah right by backing over him with the bus.
“Liverpool have won just 26 of their last 51 matches under Arne Slot.”

“It’s been a year between the 3-3 draw at Newcastle last December and yesterday’s 3-3 at Leeds, in that time we’ve played 59 competitive matches and conceded 81 goals.”

"Mo Salah deserves to play less because he's not in great form this season" my brother in christ he's been sent to the Arne Slot penitentiary with Endo and Fede while the manager starts Isak ahead Ekitike, won't consider Gomez for Ibou, and would sooner be fired than not start Cody Gakpo.

This is about as brutal as a player can get in public about their manager without basically saying, I think he’s shit and that does not bode well for the rest of our season.

Isak is quickly turning into a giant mistake rivaling Carroll. The man is useless. I get the money spent on him was big but he does not look like he’s capable of contributing to Liverpool right now. Benching Mo to play Isak feels suicidal from the nerds.

I've seen far worse Liverpool sides. I've never seen a side where the vibes were this fucking rancid.

I watched Rafa go to war with Hicks and Gillett. And I watched Roy Hodgson sleepwalk us into despair while Christian Purslow played Xenophobic Football Manager.

Things ~feel~ worse at the moment.

Slot has made basically every wrong decision he could make since the beginning of October and Liverpool’s season is in the dumpster as a result. Idk, feels fireable to me.

Slot Out
Salah: "I can't believe it, I'm very disappointed. I've done so much for this club, everyone can see that over the years, especially last season. I feel like the club is throwing me under the bus. That's how I feel.”

Yeah. Things are *bad* bad.

As much as the individuals deserve criticism for so many of our failures and breakdowns this season, when formerly exceptional players keep making ridiculous individual errors over and over and over again, at some point you have to ask if it's fundamentally a failure of man management.
Pressure will increase on Arne Slot and, given season as a whole, fair enough. But that tonight is down to the players. HIM again making a dumb mistake, others not tracking runners, another collective failure at a set-piece … pathetic from those in red. And they need to take responsibility for that.
