He’s a slightly different case in that the data guys pushed for Firmino when Brendan Rodgers seemingly had no interest in using him. But he was effective pretty quickly once Klopp came in (or that’s how I remember it)

That’s a laugh. Nobody expects perfection.

The issue is that consistent, high quality performances feel beyond every ref in the Premier League these days. Deliver those and the odd howler would be far easier to let slide.
