Planetbound Little boy on a hill shields his eyes from all cars and people, inch-by-inch, crawling home, where a fireside squeeze awaits. Not for he glow the lights from adjacent conurbation; nor for him sound the horns of impatient, long-tailed beast. Without heed, up he climbs, wanting only for dark horizon. Other worlds, different lights, skyward denizens softly call. Still to him, this must fall; to deliver some silver lining for his heart’s reservations, these twinkles’ demure complaints. ‘Often rash, seldom swift, towards lovers, they keep on moving. Planetbound, scaling crests, we shall meet in the stars one day’.
