I work in two different offices on my days in London - one has no natural light but okay coffee, the other has terrible coffee but such a cool view (although the self-cleaning windows are filthy!). Got the best seat today too as someone was off sick.

また実験は、微妙な調整一つでプラットフォーム側がやろうと思えば共和党対民主党の政治的分断を劇的に融和できた事も発見した。
研究者らは政治的融和の為にプラットフォーム側にできる事があるとの発見は非常にエキサイティングだとしながらも、分断を煽るような投稿の露出を下げて対立の鎮火を促す事は短期的にはエンゲージメントの低下に繋がるとし、エンゲージメント獲得を優先とするビジネスモデルにとっては難しいだろうと話す。

米の複数の大学の研究者らが共同でSNSのアルゴリズムがユーザーに及ぼす影響についての実験を実施。
LLMを使用したプラットフォーム側の関与のない環境で、ユーザーに表示される政治的なポストの内容がいかに異なる政党/主張への怒りや嫌悪感を招くかを観察。
その結果ユーザーがかろうじて気付く程度のごく僅かの微調節で、従来であれば3年はかかったであろう敵対陣営への嫌悪感が1週間で醸成され得る事が判明。
フィード内容の変化は被験者らがほぼ気付かないレベルだったにも関わらず、他者に対しての感情に大きな変化が報告された。 1/2

4. Even if the executive order did apply to Tennessee local libraries, simply having books with LGBTQ stories and characters does not constitute “promoting gender ideology.” The classic fairytale Little Red Riding Hood involves a wolf eating a little girl, but does not promote violence.

3. In the letters, Hargett singled out a children’s book called Fred Gets Dressed by Peter Brown. The book, which was written by a straight, cisgender man, does not feature any LGBTQ characters. It is based on a childhood experience of the author in which he tried on his mom's clothes.
