So I got paid the correct amount rather than doing a guesstimate, so didn’t get a HCC

Stumbled across an AI slop post on Facebook about a girl called Josephine found abandoned on a train in Laramie WY in 1892 who grew up to be the town doctor. Some of it was plausible but when they said they kept the train car she was found in I knew it was bull! Accompanying photo is clearly AI too

Australia’s current child support debt is the highest it has been in a decade. As of December 2024, $1.9 billion was owed, with 153,694 non-payers. While interest on unpaid amounts is payable to the government, it’s not passed on to the parents who are owed

More than 40 per cent of children in single-parent households live in poverty in Australia. Enforcing child support payments would go a long way towards fixing the problem.
