Is there any time a large organization passes an audit properly?

This is a real problem.  Why can't accountants do the job of keeping track of things properly instead of doing "creative" accounting.

MPs accepting freebies, even within the rules, raises all sorts of questions - of influence and special treatment - and erodes public trust.

If self-restraint is too much to hope for, it’s time for a cap.

Jail time looks very unlikely. Taxpayer money unlike to be seen again.

Meanwhile, the @conservatives.bsky.social swan about claiming they paid extra £bns into NHS, when in fact this money was given to:

#TestandTrace failure - £36bn
Nightgale hospitals - never used
PPE - burnt

Absolute disgrace.

Today House of Commons will debate Railways Bill

Great that franchises are coming into public ownership but we also need

🚄 Publicly owned rolling stock (trains)
🚄 An end to competition + private profit
🚄 Accountable passenger watchdog
🚄 Lower fares, new lines, investment!

It is terrible that these crimes are committed by a nation calling itself a western democracy while the UK tuts on the international stage while continuing training of IDF, training WITH the IDF and ignore responsibility as signatory to Geneva/Genocide conventions & as UN member

They don’t include Dido Harding’s #TestAndTrace

Achieved nothing.

What did she do with that £37 billion?

How much did the Nightingale hospitals cost?

And those expensive beds that were not fit for purpose and were sold off cheap?

It's called "diplomacy"

Sorry but this is exactly the gotcha style of questioning that inevitably brings democracy into disarray. Governments can't actually say everything they want about foreign leaders because that is diplomacy. Headline either way. And unscrupulous leaders who don't care are the winners.
