I think one of the craziest pasts of living in the US is that basically every single person you interact with on a daily basis could be carrying a concealed gun.

My fellow Minneapolis born and raised people: don’t do this.

Soren is one of the best community builders in our city, and he wants to keep making Minneapolis even better. Vote for him!
When I moved to Minneapolis in the mid-aughts, it was really difficult to make friends. People from other states didn’t get it.

Now the bias is front and center in my city politics. If I’m a resident who “just got here,” do I matter less to Josh?

If this mid-demo scope revision happened to a normal real estate project, the project manager, the PR dept, or both would be fired.
The White House is demolishing the entirety of the historic East Wing to make way for Trump’s $200 million ballroom, a construction project that is far more extensive than he initially let on. Get the facts about Jacob Frey before you vote: buff.ly/ok2vH4D
The Truth About Jacob Frey
Reporting from the Star Tribune shows that Mayor Frey is deleting his calls and texts. The Mayor has no cell phone calls or text data from the ICE action in Minneapolis on June 3rd. He also has none…

Mayor Frey refuses to strengthen the city’s separation ordinance, using the assassination of Melissa Hortman to justify it.

If the Mayors office insists on revisiting 6/14, ok. Let’s talk about MPD’s completely incompetent response and failure to protect legislators. Zero of whom support him.

As a violence prevention advocate, I wish more LE & government used the lens of Mary Moriarty & the Hennepin Cty Atty’s Office: center victims; take action upstream to stop violence before it happens again.

If MPD’s approach is the only one we’re using, we’ll never stop intimate partner violence.
the hennepin county attorney's office also took offense to MPD's comment that irene fernado didn't name mariah samuels' partner as her murderer -

"When a crime like this occurs, the focus is often on the
perpetrator, losing sight of the victim who no longer has a voice."

For 7 years, Mayor Frey has lied. He lied about no-knock warrants and Amir Locke died. He lied and said there were only 27 unhoused people in the city—facts prove him wrong. He even vetoed the Uber/Lyft wage bill after vowing to support it. Minneapolis needs a leader, not a liar.
