It's political malpractice to keep saying "we all just need to come together" and "elect us because we're the adults and everything will be fine" when we are *so far* past the point of normal that people are going to be pissed once Dems get control and things get *worse*. Which they absolutely will.
And sometimes not even those extras.
Woooow. Such a horrible horrible sign.
If you're running in a Dem primary for Senate, preemptively endorsing the filibuster is already a red flag.

... but not knowing the filibuster for lower court judges has been gone for more than a decade is even worse, it's indisputable evidence of incompetence.
Oh this is actually worse, we haven't had a judicial filibuster since 2013 dawg
Wow! NYC must be the real hellhole. Are they all dressed in inflatable animal costumes too?
Arguably more opportunistic than a true believer though, designed to keep his support with the crazies in Florida increase his odds with the primary electorate in 2024. RFK Jr. has a full on alternate theory.
I mean that's a pretty good description of a typewriter, marimba and all.
*sees McConnell trending*

"Is he dead is he dead is he dead?"
And the second most important thing is mocking the "kings" in question.

Also fun!
A lot of time and effort has gone into survey research around what is the best protest sign slogan, message, wording etc and to be frank the research is pretty clear the most effective things you can do at a protest are express joy and express camaraderie, don't overthink it
Like, when I first showed up here, it was ansgty leftists who I saw a ton of, but either they blocked me, or went to more "interesting" pastures when they got pushback. Now it's people who actually seem to engage or at least have something substantive to say.
It's a D+2, but this is the behavior of a Dem in an R+5. WTF.

LOL, this theory makes sense, hence Master and Commander (7.5), Coming to America (7.1), and Event Horizon (6.6).
I have gathered my thoughts and turned it into a fun blog about how IMDb is hell. I hope you like a long, under-explained list of movie ratings. aftermath.site/imdb-review-...
Feinstein hugged Lindsay Graham and complimented him on the fair job he didwith the hearing after they railroaded Barrett through the Senate. How that is in any way taking care of her constituents is beyond me.
Randy is stupid, and full of himself. Bob is wracked with imposter syndrome but actually puts his family first.

If related, they were definitely raised by someone else.

But...

LOL, "work better" apparently means "kicking as many people off as we can, all while making it hard to keep or stay on."

All that man does is lie, but unlike Trump, it's explicit lies, not filled with BS.

Guess lying is OK for Christians as long as you hurt the right people doing it.
Which is more true than you might believe.

(Satan is the internal enemy, not the enemy without.)
When the grab him, you know it's because he really got under their skin.

Self-identified Antifa activists in Portland: We hate the Democratic Party and want nothing to do with it
Young Republican staffers in their group chat: Time for to fire up the gas chambers, Hitler is super cool, eh pals?
Ted Cruz: When will the Democratic Party address its extremism problem?
Platner worries me, a la Fetterman, because he's been very unwilling to broach anything other than MfA.

Mills worries me because she's likely a supportive candidate for the failure that is Schumer, and old.

Yet my "worries" are really low priorities. One big meh.
Probably because left-libertarians often don't get involved in politics.
I mean, they tried to make Cortana on desktop anything before it was called "AI," but who wants to talk to a computer all the damn time.

And both privacy and being obnoxious? I already have to deal with people listening to video without headphones or having personal convos. Let's not, K?
The difficulty of the first three scenarios is logarithmic.

Expect to lose. It is a Call of Cthulhu game.

some colleagues have suggested to me that shame is irrelevant because the people on the "other side" don't know or care what "we" (on whatever "this side") think of them. I have...not gotten that impression
"If we install Teams we can make it into Discord!"
Hell, the line was still going up at MS, best quarter ever, and they laid people off.

The ways that Texas NIMBYs are finding to make apartments more expensive to build are are funnier than what coastal NIMBYs come up with reason.com/2025/10/14/t...
