And today, the Supreme Court will hear a case that might kill off what’s left of the Voting Rights Act, potentially repeating this history.

Keeping America safe from [checks notes...] ... nope, nobody, not at all.

As the bull market turns 3 years old and becomes ever more concentrated in a handful of companies building a speculative technology, the Trump administration is systematically removing guardrails in every major risk category. Fun.

Great piece on who will lose out when ACA health insurance subsidies expire.

www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
A square-shaped area chart titled "Almost half of adults with privately purchased health insurance are self-employed or work at small businesses."

The chart is divided into six rectangular sections representing employment status or primary activity of adults with privately purchased health insurance. The sections are:

Self-employed/business owner: 18.0% (top left, dark teal)

Worker at small business: 27.4% (top right, light teal)

Other worker: 27.4% (middle left, light blue)

    Students: 6.4% (middle right, orange)

Retired: 8.5% (bottom right, light orange)

    Other: 12.3% (bottom right, beige)

A note at the bottom of the chart indicates the source as "2025 Current Population Survey Annual Social and Economic Supplement."

Exist in public? They can arrest you.

Sitting quietly in your home. They can arrest you, and take all your stuff

Wow. Greg Bovino admits on camera that his agents can detain people if you look scared, change your demeanor, or grip a steering wheel too tight.

As his unmasked agents walk around with large guns to scare you, they may arrest you just for that — even if you're a U.S. citizen.

Crypto was pitched as a private alternative to publicly created money and the traditional banking system.

That was always a fantasy.

Crypto needs to be integrated with banks and the government to survive, even as it tries to evade meaningful regulations and consumer protections.
