Last year I planned a Christmas market girls trip for friends & I. I’m missing those vibes this year (& traveling in general due to buying a house) I hope you all don’t mind a trip down memory lane this month bc I took SO many pics. Everything was ridiculously charming. We stayed in Colmar FR 🎄

I asked for this in the spring and my doctor basically said it wasn’t necessary - so fingers crossed she’s right…? 😬
Go to your doctor and get your measles titers checked to make sure you are still immune and if not get re-vaccinated. It’s more and more likely all of us are going to eventually come in contact with it.
The thing about measles is that it’s the only known virus that triggers immune amnesia - it causes your immune system to forget everything it has previously learned. Meaning you essentially reset to zero and are now at risk of basically everything.

It can take 2-3 years to get immunities back.

A Merry Little Ex-Mas (my bad) I had the highest expectations for this one and it fell short. I think the whining Alicia’s character was doing was meant to be funny and not annoying but it didn’t work and her suddenly dragging Chet around felt awkward. The ending also frustrated me. On the plus side

The Smashwords holiday sale is going on right now, and I see a lot of my indie author friends have some awesome discounts 👀 I wrote this guide to putting non-Amazon ebooks onto your Kindle ereader back when itchio was the hot new thing, but it should apply to Smashwords ePub files too!
The easiest way to transfer non-Amazon ebooks to your Kindle - Alex Pendragon
Just because you read on a Kindle, doesn't mean you have to buy Amazon ebooks. Transferring itch.io purchases is surprisingly easy.

I know I watch too many holiday movies but I didn't expect going from older Hallmark movie to older Lifetime movie & getting the same FMC dad in both. I've watched both plenty of times but my grasp on secondary characters isn't that strong I guess. (Holiday Date - H, The Christmas Contract - L)

New update: I'd strongly rec 1-4; recommend 5-7; 8&9 are fine, don't rec #10 which was low budget & the acting pretty weak except for Vivica & Jackee who are always a good time - 6 is Hulu, 9 & 10 Lifetime, & the rest Hallmark. Also - Brandy & her 'mom' were the best part of Christmas Everyday.

I remember when she was diagnosed and posted on Twitter I think… and I had hoped the silence during this time meant she was just wholly focused on beating this and healing so I’m terribly sad that we’ve lost her. I loved the Shopaholic books and some others like Undomestic Goddess.
Sophie Kinsella has passed away at 55.

Her Shopaholic books were among the most prominent of what was called "chick lit."

Their popularity changed genre fiction.

How terribly, terribly sad.
