"What is the NBPA?" is much easier to answer.
I periodically put in some work on writing a new CBA FAQ and if anyone wants to know how that's going, I spent way too long simply trying to write and answer to the question "What is the legal structure of the NBA?" because it matters in how you get to collective bargaining.
It's weird because the league isn't actually a company of any kind! It's surprisingly difficult to legally define what the NBA "is."

Israel has violated the ceasefire every single day since it supposedly went into place.
⭕️UPDATE: The Rafah crossing b/w Egypt & Gaza remains closed to aid. A COGAT official told Reuters that only 300 trucks entered Wed.—half the 600 agreed to in the ceasefire deal.

The official added that aid will continue only through Karam Abu Salem...and other crossings “for the time being.”
Al Jazeera reports that despite earlier threats, Israel allowed 600 aid trucks to enter Gaza today. Israel had previously notified the United Nations it would effectively collectively punish Palestinians after Hamas failed to recover all the bodies and remains of Israeli captives within 72 hours...
Start with a president saying "we need an amendment that makes it explicit that I do not have immunity!"
If there is a "next president" they need to start by prosecuting everyone, including directly challenging SCOTUS on POTUS/Trump immunity.

That will cause a major backlash, and the follow-on to that should be our first push for multiple constitutional amendments for this first time in over 30 years.
Trump's mechanism to pay the troops during the shutdown is by far the most illegal budgetary action he's taken as POTUS, potentially setting the stage to break everything.

It's also needless because Congress would easily pass a troop pay bill if Johnson were willing to gavel in.

Long thread.

Now that the Celtics have completed a solid preseason I will remind everyone that preseason results have a shockingly high predictive power!

Yes, part of the shock is that people assume that they have zero predictive power, but historically they actually have.
Low. It's hard to even determine what share of the population is eligible, unless you just mean regular Medicaid on a low income basis for people who are on the grid in a meaningful way.
Dodgeball (loss; concussion)
Jigsaw puzzle (solid win)
Relay race (big loss)
Using the slow cooker (clear victory)
I HEARBY CHALLENGE THE BOSTON CELTICS COACHES TO PLAY ME AT INDOOR SOCCER OR PREFERABLY SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T INVOLVE RUNNING LIKE BALATRO
Coaches should have to write the recaps for tonight's preseason game, just to be fair

New from me @thenation.com: the farce at Sharm El-Sheikh displays the delusion that led to October 7 and the genocide Israel pursued after it — that the U.S. regional coalition can pursue normalization over the heads of the Palestinians, who are supposed to accept permanent subjugation.
Sharm El-Sheikh Shows That the US Has Learned Nothing From Gaza
Palestinans are expected to accept the same deal that led to October 7: permanent subjugation under the guise of “prosperity.”

Open AI is desperate enough to get into the last of The Big 3, I see
A problem (there are many) with AI as business is that what people want is either not that hard (code stubs, the busywork part of homework, and porn chat bots) or completely impossible (robots from cartoons) and none of the annoying shit in between.

Here's a fun NBA question: not including past teams of the franchise you're a fan of, what was your favorite team to watch of all time?

For me, my favorite non-Timberwolves team to watch were the Adelman Kings. No team has ever had a prettier half court offense
