NEW: AI “recipe slop” is overrunning search and social. Food creators say Google’s AI Overviews and glossy fake food pics are drowning out real, tested recipes — collapsing traffic and setting home cooks up for disaster, especially this Thanksgiving.

For the first time in a few years I'm not hosting Thanksgiving, which is nice, but we'll be leaving 6+ hours before dinner and I'm supposed to bring "whatever side I want" but I don't know if there will be oven/stove space and I don't have any good sides that are cold or transport for long.

NEW: Rep. Don Bacon tells @axios.com he was “so angry” last week about the Trump admin’s proposed Russia-Ukraine peace deal that he considered resigning in protest.

He ultimately decided against it, he says, but not before giving Mike Johnson an earful. www.axios.com/2025/11/25/d...

Since Wemby went down, Spurs games have been devoid of 7-footers shooting step-back 3s and throwing self alley-oops.

"I blame that mainly on the playcalling," Luke Kornet deadpanned.

A look at the village that has helped the Spurs go 3-0 without their star:

How the Spurs have been able to survive Wemby's absence so far
It takes a village to replace a player like Victor Wembanyama, but this year's Spurs are built for it thanks to Luke Kornet, Jeremy Sochan and Kelly Olynyk.

I've been watching cricket for a little over a decade now and I think I've finally figured out what is wrong with England.

The problem is that they suck and Australia are awesome.

Does anybody think OKC will actually lose this game?

No, I didn't think so.

stop covering for him and the rest of these bastards that are killing people.
Breaking News: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he personally instructed the CDC to abandon its position that vaccines do not cause autism. The move underscores his determination to challenge scientific orthodoxy — in this case, that vaccines save lives — and bend the health department to his will.

In an interview, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. cited gaps in vaccine safety research. His critics say he is ignoring a larger point: Vaccines save lives.

Posted a version of this yesterday but worded it poorly and deleted:

Every team has now played >=13 games. Through their opening 13 games we had three teams winning by 10+/g and five teams losing by 10+/g.

Three ties the previous season start record; five smashes the previous record.
Teams with less than five wins at this point of the season:

2026: 9
2025: 5
2024: 6
2023: 3
2022: 5
2021: 3
2020: 4

The bottom of the league is as bad as it's been in recent memory.

Hey, people who understand how Reddit works!

Reddit can be a phenomenal driver of traffic (not sure if it will convert to paid subs but you start somewhere) but actively hostile to anyone trying to use Reddit to drive traffic to themselves.

The way YT no longer shows you the chapter name on timeline hover and instead hides it in the View Chapter button in a new front in enshittification.

No one wants that. It's only done to make you click around more on a video instead of being able to quickly find what you're looking for.
