Being anti-fascist is patriotic.

Anti-fascism is a political stance,
not an organization.
💯 CLARIFICATION: Right wingers in America are trying to change what "Anti-Fascist" means. That's not ok. (Fascism is authoritarianism plus even uglier stuff. Fascists demonize ethnic minorities, immigrants, or political opponents, among other super unfair things that they do.) Anti-fascist means opposing fascism and related far-right ideologies, including white supremacy and neo-Nazism. It is a political stance, not an organization. It's normal to be anti-fascist. FUN FACT: Being anti-fascist is aligned with the teachings of Jesus Christ! 👼 Interestingly, the term anti-fascism doesn't actually tell you much about what a person wants their government to look like. It only clearly defines what they don't support. (It's like being anti-anchovies as a pizza topping. Doesn't tell you what else they want on their pizza, or how they plan to pay for that pizza.) 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 😎 Being anti-fascist is as common as being right-handed. It's a very big tent. So naturally, there are going to be a lot of different types of people within that tent. 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓 FUN FACT: Many anti-fascists are pacifists! ☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️ Being anti-fascist does not mean that you are planning to commit crimes or damage property. 😕😕😕😕😕😕😕 BUT WHAT IF... a few people in that huge group of Americans who have an anti-fascist political stance commit crimes while self-identifying as "antifa." With talking points this uniform coming out of the right so quickly after the murder, it’s completely understandable why Kimmel said what he did. The MAGA publicity machine was pre-set to “deflect” and “demand Civil War.” It IS disturbing. And Kimmel’s punishment is another form of deflection.
