Ex-typhoon Halong at 2pm AKDT Saturday centered in the southern Bering Sea. Very warm air on the east side of the center, with Unalaska Airport up 65F (18.3C) and the NOAA tide gauge there reporting 67F (19.4C). #akwx #weather @climatologist49.bsky.social

How cloudy was it in September around Alaska? For Anchorage and Fairbanks, this was either the first or second cloudiest since 1979.
