Trump's reference to the "enemy within" is not about immigrants. If you still think this is about immigrants, you're missing the plot. Trump has declared war on Americans who believe in democracy--all Americans who who oppose his incipient dictatorship. The majority of us.

4/ Ok, so then the obvious next step is to negotiate a compromise. That's how we've always avoided shutdowns. And Republicans need to convene those talks, bc they're in charge.

But here's the kicker - Trump is telling them to BOYCOTT NEGOTIATING. And they are following orders.

Contested primaries are great. We need more.

Here we have the DSCC going to spend $millions to defeat Platner. (I literally got 7 texts today on behalf of Mills. Unprecedented).

That means Platner will have to raise & spend $millions that he would otherwise have for the General if he wins.

The AZ Governor should fly out to DC and swear in Adelita in the presence of the entire Democratic caucus in the Capitol Building—-with the press present. It might not pass muster of the “rules” but it will call attention to this and make asses of the GOP.
