I actually have a small section that was actually black. I spent 4 days in the ICU, 2 surgeries. My doctor is amazing. He’s ex military surgeon. He spent a couple years in the field patching up kids who stepped on IEDs in Afghanistan. No celiac here.

Not really. Are we horrified by Turkey, Hungary, Belarus, Poland, ??. I have seen no evidence of America even registering political oppression in other countries on their radars at all. We remain willfully ignorant of life, good/bad, in the rest of the world. We can’t be bothered.

I am hoping it’s the Mariners and Brewers. I live in Seattle and they have never won the World Series. Neither have the Brewers and…. Little known fact, the Seattle Pilots became the Brewers. The Pilots played one season in 1969. The team was then moved to Milwaukee.

Poppy is tolerating the bath from Panzer to get the bath soap smell off. My dogs find the stinkiest pile of laundry and rugs to rub themselves on after a bath.

Are you surprised?!? 25% of our military is dependent on food stamps! We have $1 trillion budget for the military and none of it goes towards the actual soldiers. It’s for shiny toys and things that blow up. Not actual soldiers and their families.

I wish I could say Medicare was better. Medicare covers 80%, I had bowel obstruction surgery in Sept 2024 which amounted to $175k. That’s $35k if I was 65. Gap insurance takes the decision making process about your care out of Medicare’s hands. Our health system is completely a mess.

And they will get hired by some pharmaceutical company and this is the further privatization of our healthcare system. You thought Big Pharma was bad before… wait until all the research is yanked from our universities & is done by corporations. Cost will be astronomically

That’s because Nixon was never held accountable. He was pardoned. The law doesn’t apply equally when those in power are allowed to walk free when an average person would be in prison.
