Sometimes I DIY okay-ish.

An empty closet. Bare, beige walls full of damage caused by idiots who are unfamiliar with the concepts of studs or drywall anchors. A pathetic, contractor-grade light fixture illuminates shitty Closetmaid wire shelving, which is lying on the floor near a pile of garbage, right where it belongs.

An empty closet. Bright, turquoise walls full of white melamine shelving installed by an idiot who is unfamiliar with the concept making enough money to afford solid wood shelves. Several mid-grade flush mount light fixtures actually illuminate the new shelves, which were installed with slightly better than average DIY (but still not great) skill.

Yup. Parents bought me an LL Bean hygiene bag when I went to college in 1998. It went on every deployment and TDY while I was in the military, and I still take it on any overnight trip. Still looks damn near brand new.
