And the real motherfucker is MOST of us here are doing the right thing. I mask when I’m sick. We keep our kid out of school. We took vaccines and boosters religiously. Hell I cut out family just to have some internet weirdos brand us monsters because we don’t want to live like it’s March 2020

We live 2000 miles away from our closest family with a preschool kid and no one to help. If one of us got sick we’d be fucked

THEN I got diagnosed with Crohn’s during the Delta Wave.

We suffered during the height of the pandemic and I don’t appreciate folks making me out to be a monster now.

Like yea, there are very real problems in Hawaii.

We got fucking shot at when we trained in Makua Valley because locals wanted the land back from the Army.

One of the things this dick flatly refuses to recognize is POVERTY! The native people on Oahu have a lot less money than he does. They’re not world travelers because it’s fucking insanely expensive to travel from Oahu. Hell it’s insanely expensive to LIVE on Oahu.

I lived in Hawaii for 3 years and while there were certainly struggles between locals and us Haole it was pretty easily navigated by avoiding illegal narcotics and not being a giant prick.
