This is a map of all the treaties and cessations that Indigenous tribes were forced to sign or were done against their will.

I live an hour away from the literal starting point of the Trail of Tears.
The bloody endgame of the forced removal of tens of thousands of Indigenous off their lands which were then given to White Settlers.
This wasn't a European Colonial thing.
This was AMERICAN thing.
