Between a bud of mine posting Read or Die and the theme song of R.O.D. the TV and seeing this post, I think the universe is telling me I should watch the series again. It's been a long time.

Crud... the links didn't really show the full link names. The first one was for my Cartoon Network continuity revision.

The second one was my first extension of the #WB100 Project I made that also honored Cartoon Network's 30th anniversary.

The third link was a continuity project I had for MeTV.

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, "Paprika" will be re-released in Japanese theaters on January 2, 2026 (nationwide).
The other films by the late Satoshi Kon will also be screened in January at the Cine Quinto theater (Tokyo).

I made these. Turn them into posters/stickers/etc. May we all be good Samaritans this holiday season.

I also encourage people to reach out to the social worker at their local school. They know which families are struggling and what they need. Before school started, I bought 20 backpacks & filled them with school supplies. And last month, new coats for kids who needed them.

The economy is FAR WORSE than the government is acknowledging. This holiday season, if you know folks struggling, don't be afraid to leave a mystery box of groceries or some gifts from Santa for the kids on their porch. Maybe drop a grocery store gift card in their mailbox.

Be the Christmas magic.

Oh... this cover by Daniel Sampere for next year's new edition of the DC Encyclopedia looks great.

Honestly and pleasantly surprised to see Mister Terrific and Hawkgirl on the cover as well, but then again, they had a breakout year appearing in Superman on the big screen, so that's cool.

All this assumes Netflix ends up closing its purchase of WB, and that Paramount or another company doesn't end up with the assets. Lots still to unfold. But as of now, it appears as if both TCM and the linear HBO network will be run by Netflix.

Lots can change between now and next summer, when WBD splits up its studio/streaming division and its channels unit. But the plan is that TCM is going to the new, slimmed-down Warner Bros. company next summer... and then, if a deal closes and nothing else changes, TCM will be under Netflix's control

So there's been some confusion about the fate of TCM post- Netflix sale. Netflix has yet to comment, but I did get this statement from a WB Discovery Networks rep.

"TCM will be a part of Warner Bros. (Studios), post the company’s planned separation in 2026.”

That's the company Netflix is buying.

"Building a Stronger Hollywood."

Scientists are examining the contents of this document published by Paramount Skydance in their plea to the stockholders of Warner Bros Discovery, and here's what they discovered:

It's the revised edition of "To Serve Man."

In other words...
a woman is holding a man 's hand and says `` it 's a cookbook '' .
Alt: Patty (Susan Cummings), a blonde research assistant, is frantically screaming "It's a cookbook!" as a warning to someone off-screen in a memorable episode of The Twilight Zone, "To Serve Man" (Season 3, Episode 24).

Just gonna be blunt and say I think a merger with Paramount would be far worse than Netflix. The Ellison family would have control over Paramount, WB, CBS News, CNN, and dozens of cable networks. A separate deal has Larry Ellison taking over TikTok too. I don't like that feeling.
