I am so tired of people constantly saying Nick defiled Steve’s legacy. Please stop using Steve’s name. You can dislike some of the new stuff, but it’s wrong to speak for someone you never knew personally. It has lead to so much misinformation clouding the discussion of SpongeBob and it’s really sad.
It’s 2025, and people are still weaponzing Stephen Hillenburg’s name as an emotionally manipulative tactic to criticized the current state of the SpongeBob franchise.
It’s downright disgusting and I say this as someone who believes the Sandy Cheeks movie is a two-pack of ass.
