There we go - now we have higher ranking US officials campaigning publicly against the EU, European governments and the rule of law.

Here an example of pretending only diplomatic passport gives her the freedom to criticise an MEP.

The world needs to know Trump’s US is a country which will watch two stranded men fight for life on a camera feed for an hour, only to dispatch a $100k anti-armor missile to turn their bodies to pulp, and then laughingly describe it as military necessity. Show the world how we’re killing for sport.

Legal and military experts are explaining why this is murder regardless of his excuses. I propose my personal peanut gallery theory—there is no list of approved targets with the murdered men’s names. They were nobodies and we thought we could get away with murdering them for that reason alone.

That's one hell of a fine bird.
It's been weeks since I had a great day of birding in Central Park. But today I got several good looks, including my local favorite--the Northern Flicker! I was surprised to hear its inimitable cry and thrilled to capture it in the morning light! 😎😎😎 #CentralPark #birding #Flicker

The billionaire class is filled with shallow thinking and tired, vapid ideas. The push for public hangings as deterrence is a thousand years old and is on track to deter nothing.
A Palantir billionaire just called for public hangings.

“It's time to bring back masculine leadership to protect our most vulnerable,” writes Joe Lonsdale.

This is where Silicon Valley authoritarianism is heading:

So apart from being very talented my brother David is very brave. While his film Eternity was being wrapped up he had a very serious diagnosis and he has written about it here time.com/7339094/eter...
Me, My Film, and My Massive Brain Tumor
David Freyne directed and co-wrote a film about death. Then, he learned he had a brain tumor the size of an apple.

if i was still a race reporter, i'd maybe write about how the image looks almost exactly like the image on the first edition on the cover of the deeply racist novel "the camp of the saints" which is in vogue with the racists running this country (and beyond).

(*i'm still a reporter, really)
If I was still an art reporter, I would write about the sculptor behind this and whether it intentionally looks like the hands of decaying people
Like hands above the ocean tides holding onto to a shipwreck.

I've been saying this for a year now: the Democrats have missed a gigantic political opportunity--and, at this point, have failed in an ethical obligation--to create a shadow-government health department that dispenses medically accurate information, guidance, and advice.

I was born in 1959 and when we played 1960’s good guys and bad guys the bad guys always put on a German accent. Confrontation began with the bad guys stopping the good guys and demanding their papers.
The fight began when the good guys refused.

I’m old enough to remember 2016 when made-up bullshit about “Hillary got the questions before the debate” was worth a month of daily news coverage. Now, when a version of that actually happened, we’re supposed to just let it go? I’m not goddamn Elsa and neither are you.
