For no reason at all I’m thinking of an AI bro on here who sneered at Timnit Gebru, saying her only claim to fame was being fired, all because Dr Gebru pointed to the deep roots of eugenics in tech, and the problematic ways Blueskys own engineers talked about eugenics in relation to AI.
