Say what you want about the song but it was still cool of Luke Combs to keep the queer subtext in Fast Car especially given his country roots.
Michael Bublé’s “Santa Baby” (re-titled by him to “Santa Buddy”) is such an interesting masculinity text

Just noticed that the original song asks for a convertible in “light blue” but Michael wants one in “steel blue,” which just feels like such an unnecessary lyric change lol

Rob Reiner either made your favorite movie, or made somebody you know’s favorite movie. If you’re a Californian, he’s also part of the reason you or your friends can get married. He has changed more lives for the better than this asshole commenting on him ever did.

wildly underrated album music.apple.com/us/album/a-m...

“Persuasion” is an all-timer in the beautiful love songs category, and “No Return” contains a line that partially inspired me to pursue polyamory

She’s a hero for democracy and they’re convicting her.
Bobbie Peoples says she did nothing wrong when she visited senior citizens with absentee ballots at assisted-living facilities to help them vote in the 2023 Democratic primaries.

But a Leflore County judge convicted Peoples on a misdemeanor under Mississippi’s ballot harvesting law.

Bobbie Peoples is appealing a ballot harvesting conviction for submitting a ballot on behalf of another person in Leflore County, Mississippi.

In the wise words of @tantus.bsky.social' early 2000's advertising, make dildos, not war.

What i'd give to see a society that condemned violence more than sex.

I was super depressed in university, barely made friends, did most things alone (due to hormonal birth control but that’s another story)

Went to a weekday afternoon screening of the first Frozen movie; it was just me + a dad & his two tiny daughters, sitting several rows behind me

WE ALL LOVED IT
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

A few years ago, Friday asked me "What if we made a book about GMing romance?"

That book, brought to you by the brilliant minds and hands of folks from all across the #TTRPG space, is now ready to be on your digital bookshelves and tables!

Very very proud of everyone who contributed 💖
