โฆ The Great Japan Instant Curry Review Thread Part 3๐Ÿงต
(Curries 81-110)

The curries go marching one by one, hurrah, hurrah! 80 curries in, & I think I've only scratched the surface!

โ˜ž Ratings out of 10. A โตโ„โ‚โ‚€ is a solid curry. There are better & worse, but 5s are meant to be average yet good.
If you're looking for a comfortable anime at the end of the day that is easy to relax to, I would like to recommend ใƒฉใƒผใƒกใƒณ่ตค็Œซ (Red Cat Ramen). It's about a ramen shop run by cats.

How is the cocktail-serving bar scene in Takamatsu these days? I haven't been back in a while.

My company is doing donation matching for organizations assisting with food insecurity in local communities in light of SNAP's partial cut-off (11/1). If you'd like your donation to count double, DM me to coordinate. Lmk which of the listed orgs too. I'm donating on 11/6.

New Courage the Cowardly Dog fan game looks creepy, is out soon, and was made in... Dreams?!

Well, that would very likely give me a heart attack >.<;;
I wonder... In Japan, you can order most basic cocktails in a bar, even if they aren't featured on a menu, too. I tend to stick to the menu, but I've been known to ask for a cheeky Old Fashioned to see how it comes out. That said, I do avoid it at nice places because off-menu prices can be a shock.

So I just checked our sales - we're at 289 copies sold.

We need 11 more to reach 300, which is our internal threshold to go ahead and start planning Issue #2 - let's do this!

What do you figure the betting pool over/under is on him running in New Jersey next?
I'm always stumbling across new slang online, so if you throw a little AI slop into a sentence, all of a sudden it becomes very hard to tell if it's something new or meaningless blegh.
Same! I find way more interesting new reads in a Village Vanguard.
I read Breon Mitchell's translation of The Trial by Kafka a little while back, and in the preface from the author, I think something was expressed that all of us feel about some projects:

"Translating Kafka was once my dream. Now all I dream of is how I might have done it better."
Those fun conversations where someone says ๅฃŠใ•ใ‚ŒใŸ, and m'like "no, no, no... YOU broke it; ๅฃŠใ—ใŸใญ!"
Like, "I'm just someone looking out for you!"
And I think I'm the third to back this up. Yeah, it adds emphasis while referring to an understood subject. It could be the speaker or potentially someone/thing else.

Yeah, you definitely need a decent amount of time & an adult bladder doesn't hurt ๐Ÿ˜…
food & museums are most of the reason I go anywhere ๐Ÿ˜Š thanks for telling me; I've made a note!
We spent 2 hours looking around, so this is just a teeny tiny example of some of the categories of things to see.
Went to the Hokusai exhibit running until the end of November at Creative Museum Tokyo in Kyobashi. I've seen a lot of his work over the years, but had no idea how incredibly prolific he was, or that he was basically drawing comics in the early 1800s. It's an amazing exhibit that I highly recommend!
Oh, I bet Ohtani gets a phone call from Japan.
I don't tend to sit and watch it on my own, but I love going to a game. Y'get a lil food, y'get a lil drink, y'get to shout at the top of your lungs... It's very therapeutic.
